There are a number of indications for fixed-fulcrum
shoulder joint, including non functional rotator cuff or revision
of failed shoulder replacements.
The Bayley-Walker™ Shoulder system comprises of |
| • | A glenoid component with a large surface area of the threads and face plate with a Hydroxyapatite coating |
| • | A humeral component that has an excellent fixation based on a metallic casing |

The glenoid ball snaps tightly into the plastic housing and is designed for enhanced range of motion. The centre of rotation is placed medially and distally to increase the lever arm of the abductor muscles. There are 3 sizes available and customised replacements can be made if required. |
